Seanese "'Belly* `Joseph LaGrant Jackson Buchanan was born January 15, 1970 to
Willie Charles Buchanan and Vivian Faye Jackson Buchanan in Oak Grove.
Louisıana Sean accepted Christ at the young age of 16 in which his spiritual
relationship with Christ continued to grow. Sean received his high school diploma
from Western High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. He had a love for music, singing.
cooking and fashion was his forte. Sean loved to dress. He played football for one
year, it was not his cup of tea. He was State of Nevada Fribee champion at the age
of 12, played softball, and played the String Bass instrument in middle school. Sean
attended Reed Whipple Cultural Center for tap dancing and played a mean hand of
tennis and golf.
Sean worked as a Campus Monitor for CCSD for twenty-one years. Custodian for
five years at Harry Reid International.
Sean departed this life peacefully on April 16, 2024. Sean was full of life, active,
intelligent and dignified. He was known to be a man who respected others, learned
to practice tolerance and simply adored his grandchildren. We shall not mourn his
passing, but we shall rejoice his entering into heaven. Sean was preceded in death by
his father Willie Charles Buchanan, his brother Kareem Vidal Buchanan, his neice
Jasmine Marie Margaret Buchanan, his grandfather Grant Buchanan, his grand-
mother Mary Tosten Buchanan, his grandmother Judie (Sally) Mae Jackson, his
grandfather Morris (Bo) Edmond Jackson, and his special grandmother Mary Lilbell

Sean leaves to cherish his memory: mother Vivian Faye Jackson-Buchanan; five
beautiful daughters: Tatina S. Money, Jayde Buchanan, Deana and Danyale Buchan-
an (twins); Rhyder Cole; two gorgeous grandchildren; Aria and Amir Ashby
(twins);three nieces, three nephews; memorials will be cherished by his great aunt
Millie Smith; one great uncle Raymond Jackson; four aunts; Minnie Jackson, Judy
Jackson, Louise Lee(Thomas); Denise Jackson; two uncles Morris Jackson Jr. and
Ricky Jackson (Yolanda); close cousins/brothers, Kevin Jackson, Yaphet Jackson
(Samantha) and Markie Prater; close cousin/sister, India Hatter- Golston (Kenneth);
God-sisters; Doreese McCurdy Johnson and Wanda Hill, his church family, Revival
Temple and Serenity Funeral Home for the generosity and care of Sean Buchanan
and Kareem Buchanan; and a host of relatives and friends whom were all very dear
to his heart. I am Free
