BORN SEPTEMBER 19, 1940 TO ROBERT ANDERSON SR. AND VELMA RILEY
BOONE IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. HE ACCEPTED CHRIST AT AN EARLY
AGE. HE GRADUATED FROM CENTENNIAL SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL JANUARY 26, 1968
IN COMPTON, CA. HE LATER JOINED THE US ARMY AND SPENT MOST OF HIS SERVICE IN VIETNAM.

IN 1968 HE BEGAN WORKING AT MAX FACTOR COSMETICS IN GARDENA
CALIFORNIA WHERE HE HAD A SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS CO-
WORKERS. HE LATER RETIRED FROM US FOODS IN LAS VEGAS NEVADA.

BOB, BOBBY, OR POPS ARE ALL THE NAMES HE WAS AFFECTIONALLY KNOWN
TO HIS FAMILY AND CLOSE FRIENDS. POPS WAS A JOY TO ALL WHO CAME
IN CONTACT WITH HIM. HIS GREATEST PLEASURE WAS TO BRING JOY AND
LAUGHTER TO WHOMEVER HE MET. HIS TIME, LOVE AND EFFORT WERE
DEVOTED TO HELPING OTHERS, ESPECIALLY HIS IMMEDIATE FAMILY.

POPS HOBBIES INCLUDED HIS LOVE OF MUSIC (OLDIES), DANCING, PLAYING
LOTTO, DOMINOES, BOWLING, HIS 49ERS AND COOKING.
HE CAME TO REST FEBRUARY 12, 2022. IN LOVING MEMORY HE LEAVES 4
SIBLINGS GLORIA SCOTT, SHIRLEY BOONE, ALICE SHACKELFORD, AND
ANTHONY BOONE, 4 CHILDREN, MAURICE ROBERTS, SHANEEKA ANDERSON,
SHANTE' ANDERSON AND TROY ANDERSON, 5 GRANDCHILDREN, AND A HOST
OF RELATIVES, IN-LAWS & FRIENDS.

PROCEEDED IN DEATH BY HIS MOTHER VELMA BOONE, HIS BROTHER
NATHANIEL BOONE, UNCLE CURTIS RELEIGHAND AND NEPHEW KEMMEL SHACKELFORD.

HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED!
