OBITUARY:

Las Vegas, Nevada

Nancy Jo (Williams) Bishop, age 74 passed away peacefully on May 24, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nancy was born in Ames, Iowa. She was a Human Resources professional in multiple positions throughout her career, she had excellent communication skills. Nancy was enthusiastic about everything she did whether it was with her family, friends, or her many activities. Nancy’s activities included arts, cooking, gardening, sewing, fishing, camping, board, and card games. Nancy also enjoyed traveling with her family and relatives. She will be missed by her many friends and family.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years Charles Clarence Bishop, two sons Chad (Roxanne) and Jason, and two grandsons, Raef, and Reid, all of Las Vegas. Her stepmother Colleen Williams, brothers; Stephen Williams, (Patricia), Michael Williams (Christine), David Williams, a niece Marci Keesee (Jeremy), nephews, Mark Williams (Nicki), Eric Williams, Adam Williams, and Brad Williams, all in central Iowa and Bryan Williams (Joanna) of Seattle plus several grandnieces and grandnephews. As well as relatives in Canada; Randall Dravis (Patricia), Joel Dravis, Nancy Rittenhouse-Dravis, and Mary DeVries (Allan), and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A joint Celebration of Life and Interment of Ashes will take place at a later date in Iowa. This honors Nancy and Charles’s long time wishes to celebrate their lives together as one to the end.
