OBITUARY


 Carlton Jerome Allen Sr., aged 66, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Carlton was born in Kansas City and graduated from Sumner High School in 1976. He later moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1979, where he built a life filled with music, love, and faith. Carlton was a devoted husband, father, brother, cousin, and friend. He was married to LaShonne Deniece Allen and was the proud father of eight children: Bridgette, Carlton Jr., Paul, Brionna, Kiyayah, Fred, Noelle, and Isaac. His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. A gifted musician and performer, Carlton's passion for singing was evident throughout his life. He was a member of several gospel groups, including S.O.S., The Golden Wonders of Joy, and The Message, and traveled extensively to share his love for gospel music and sing for the Lord. His voice and spirit touched countless hearts and brought comfort and joy to many. Beyond his musical talents, Carlton enjoyed going on cruises and spending time with family and friends. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering faith were constants in his life, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Carlton is survived by his loving wife, LaShonne Deniece Allen, his eight children, his brother Lemuel Allen, his sister Paulette Allen, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Fredrick Donald Allen Jr., He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Carlton's life will be held [details of the service], where friends and family will gather to remember a life well-lived and a man deeply loved.
